A Look at Alternative Medicine For Hair Loss - What Works, What Doesn't

Under the category of alternative medicine for hair loss (alopecia), you will find everything from onion juice to hypnosis. Massage, essential oils, dietary changes, aerobic exercise, nutritional supplements and herbal remedies are other alternatives. Some of these things have proven to be effective in clinical studies. But, does that mean they will work for you?

Depending on the cause, they might do, but one thing we need to remember is that the hair-producing follicles go through cycles. So, sometimes, all that is needed is a little patience. When a small clinical trial indicates that something like onion juice is beneficial, it could simply be that the follicles have cycled back into their productive phase. Or, it could be the placebo effect.

In any kind of condition, 20-40% of people will improve when they are using a placebo. When it comes to alopecia, anything that is massaged into the scalp may be beneficial, because massage stimulates circulation to the hair-producing follicles.

Along with improved blood flow comes more nutrients, and nutrients are among the most effective alternative medicine for hair loss. But, they should be taken orally.

Shampoos and other treatments that contain nutrients are not likely to be effective. The molecules of most nutrients are too large to penetrate the scalp. Protein molecules are particularly large.

Because human hairs are composed of protein, protein deficiencies are often cited as the causes of thin hairs and balding. But, topically applied protein treatments are just a waste of money.

Another thing that is important to remember is that preventing damage to the hair-producing follicles is easier than correcting it. Some of the effective alternative medicine for hair loss helps prevent damage that can be done by free radicals. If onion juice is effective, it is probably because of the antioxidants that it contains.

Increasing your antioxidant intake can improve your overall health. Another thing that you can do to prevent damage to the follicles, according to recent studies, is to reduce the number of simple carbs that you eat every day.

Simple carbs (potatoes, sugar, pasta, bread, rice, etc) cause a spike in blood sugar levels that set off a train reaction that eventually ends with the production of Advanced Glycation End-products, aptly referred to as AGEs, because they age the body. That's one of the reasons that dietary changes that include reduced intake of simple carbs are considered effective alternative medicine for hair loss.

The effectiveness of herbal remedies varies. Saw palmetto is very effective for male pattern baldness. Just as effective, some studies say, as finasteride, a prescription drug marketed as Propecia. The nutrients biotin and PABA are effective for women, as is an herb called horsetail silica.

The only topically applied treatment that has been proven to be effective, and the only treatment approved by the US FDA, is called Minoxidil. Some people have tried alternative medicine for hair loss, but they see better results when Minoxidil is part of the program.

Spring is on It's Way! - How Oriental Medicine Views Spring and General Cleaning Begins

How beautiful it is to experience the changing of the seasons. As we are leaving Winter, the Yin of the year, we are experiencing the beginnings of freshness of new growth to come.

Many of us are anxious for the sun to be seen in the sky longer and warmer weather to be felt. With winter ending, the Traditional Oriental Medicine views winter to be the time of kidney. Kidney is a yin organ that is deep and has a relationship with water, coldness and slow moving, like hibernation.

The cycle of the seasons has a cycle of organs in T.O.M. Spring is the season of the liver and gall bladder the element of wood. Spring is the time for the yang with in the yin to grow outward. Some begin feeling the restlessness of spring to arrive, and feel just an inner restless time. Maybe even slight disharmony that can't be quiet pin pointed down. Know that it is surely the seasonal change beginning to stir it's energy inside and out.

Can you prepare for the feelings of change you may ask? Well let me share with you the foods that can aid the liver's energies. Liver has a sour craving in general. Sour is astringing and pulls into the liver. Sour would be sour plums, they are found you just have to seek. Vinegar is also sour a good example that is easy to find is Balsamic vinegar and oil on salads. Liver also loves greens such as spinach, kale, arugula, dandelion sprouts, asparagus and greens that have a slight bitter taste. With these foods the energy of the liver get beneficial strength and support to be healthy through the year to follow.

On another note with the arrival of Spring, it is Spring Cleaning time. Have you known that the chemicals we have been taught to use to clean our homes have incredible toxic load to our bodies effecting our pets as well?

Wouldn't you like to know that there are products to clean our homes with that are safe enough to drink but strong enough to clean, really clean, and then continue to benefit out water systems, like septic up to 36 hours later? Enzymes are what we have in our bellies and in our fresh foods we eat. Wow Green is a company that uses enzymes, natural surfactants and essential oils/natural dyes with our own water, to create cleaning products that really work with no toxic chemical residues left over effecting our bodies or our water supplies.

I invite you to discover the natural beauty of Wow Green. http://www.wowgreen.net/2greenme see for your self how you can bring in a new green clean spring to the inside of your home.

Alternative Medicine - For Hair Loss

With over a hundred million women and men suffering from some form of hair issues, remedies are in big demand. There are traditional methods of curing hair loss and then there are alternative medicines used for correcting hair problems. Some of these alternative methods are questionable and others are proven methods for controlling hair troubles.

Here are some of the best alternative medicines and their effectiveness.

He Shou Wu - This herb comes to us from China. It is believed that this herb can turn hair from gray to black, improve your sex drive, and prevent loss of hair. It comes from the plant root called he-shou-wu that can be found in China, Japan, and Taiwan.
White Iodine - It is believed that there is a connection between an iodine shortage and hair loss. The iodine should be applied directly to the bald spot. In all my researching on hair issues, I have never read about having a deficiency of iodine will cause loss of hair.
Olive Oil - Buy some extra virgin olive oil. With your hair dampened, apply about three tablespoons of it to your hair. Rub it through your hair and let it set in your hair or about three hours. It is best to rap a towel or a plastic bag around your hair. After three hours, shampoo your hair. Repeat this process three times a week
Coconut Milk - Massage some of this coconut milk through the hair down to its roots. Let set for about one hour and then rinse out.
Saw Palmetto - This is the one I use with effective results. This herb comes from the berries found on the saw palmetto palm tree (Saw palmetto tree is on the state flag of South Carolina). This has been used by the Native Indians for hundreds of years to fix urinary problems. It has been prescribed to men with an enlarged prostate to control the effects of it and to reduce the prostate. While using this, they found it re-grew hair. It is now used not only for helping men with an enlarged prostrate but also as an herbal supplement for controlling hair loss and re-growing hair.

These are some of the alternative medicines that people use to stop the loss and re-grow their hair. Some I would question, like the white iodine. But others haven been proven to stop loss and re-grow hair, such as saw palmetto.

Jimmy Chase started losing his hair when he turned 50. He has done lots of studies on loss of hair, in both men and women, to determine what works and what doesn't. He has successfully stopped his hair loss and has even re-grown some of his hair. He wants to help other people learn what he has learned, on stopping hair loss and re-growing hair.

Alternative Medicine For Hair Loss - Can it Really Work?

Alternative medicine has gotten a lot of bad press over the years from the medical profession, but it has been proven to work. It is now growing fast, with thousands of options out there, but how on earth do you choose just one treatment?

The causes of your hair loss

If you have trouble keeping your hair on your head rather than in your hair brush, your enzymes might be out of whack. In your body, you have specific enzymes that sometimes go out of your body's control, this leads to your locks leaving your head. I

f they are out of control, they could cause the hormone DHT, and several others, to be present in excess. Not a good thing at all- DHT binds itself to your hair follicles, and eventually causes them to experience an untimely death.

Choosing the right treatment

The key to finding the best alternative medical treatment for your hair loss worries, is understanding how they actually work. Their basis comes down to the ingredients and authenticity.

The problem with the alternative health market, as with the conventional health market, is that there are many products out there that are very low in quality, and will do nothing at all to prevent your lusciously lovely locks from falling out of your head.

Your best bet to combat your hair loss problems, is to find an alternative medicine that encompasses ingredients of the highest quality that have been proven to combat the problem.

I would recommend any of the following:

Magnesium

Zinc

Biotin

Vitamin B

Saw Plametto

Horsetail Silica

Each of these ingredients on their own have been proven to help remedy hair loss. If however, you decide to take one or two of them in conjunction with one another, or even all of them at the same time, you will probably have a cocktail of success in your hands. Your hair worries will vastly improve it seems, not bad for adding a few extra supplement to your diet.

The ingredients that you want could be gender specific, depending on the cause of your condition. That means you have the responsibility of educating yourself, on the specific cause, and then of course remedy for your condition. You want to make sure that you are making your problems better rather than worse.

I myself have discovered that alternative medicine for hair loss works well for both men and women with hair loss problems. Particularly a product called Provillus. It has helped me and could help you too.

I am not disputing the helpfulness of traditional remedies by any stretch of the imagination, I am only recommending to you, what has surely helped me with my problems.

Why not look into it and see for yourself?

In searching for more information on the causes of sudden hair loss I found a great website called http://www.no-longer-balding.com. I found this invaluable in finding a solution to my problem and if you or someone close to you suffers from this then you should check it out now.

Discover the Best Alternative Medicine For Hair Loss - Naturally Regrow Your Hair!

To select an alternative medicine for hair loss is not an easy task with the fact that markets are loaded with thousands of such treatment options to offer, each one claiming to be the best.

One finds it highly confusing to opt for the best option out of so many of them available. It is only when you learn the process of working of the alternative medicine for hair loss that you will be able to say as which particular medicine will work and which one will not.

The effectiveness of any alternative medicine for hair loss depends completely upon the ingredients presents in it and the results it has shown on its previous users. Not all the alternative health products available in the market are beneficial for your hair problems.

Within our body certain enzymes and hormones regulate its functioning and general health. There are some specific enzymes which affect our hair when their secretion is affected. These certain enzymes stimulate excessive secretion of DHT hormone. The hormone gets stuck with the hair follicle and damages it, resulting in hair fall.

There are some specific vitamins and minerals which help in combating the problem of thinning hair. These minerals and vitamins include zinc, magnesium, biotin and vitamin B6. Saw Palmetto is one such plant which contains these ingredients in plenty.

There are also options of traditional treatments like hair transplant and medicines available, but there may be a risk of side effects with them and all these options are highly expensive too.

In the light of this fact, it is wise to opt for an alternative medicine for hair loss which has proven its efficiency and has no side effects, because your health is very precious and you should not take a chance with it. So why not give it the best!

Discover the Alternative Medicine For Hair Loss That You May Be Looking For

What if I told you that there is an alternative medicine for hair loss that you might not have heard about? Would you like to know what it is? I will give you more information about this product at the end of this article.

The first topic I want to discuss is the number one cause of hair loss for both men and women. Do you know what it is? If you guessed androgenic alopecia (pattern baldness), then you are correct.

If you are unfamiliar with androgenic alopecia, it is a form of balding that is usually hereditary. The balding occurs when your body transforms testosterone into dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which attaches to hair follicles and causes them to shrink and eventually fall out.

Now that you know what the number one cause of hair loss is, let's discuss some of the well known treatments that are on the market today.

The first product I would like to discuss is probably the most popular of all products. This product is known as Rogaine, which contains the FDA approved ingredient Minoxidil. This product has been on the market for years and has helped many begin re-growing hair. The only problem that I see with this product is that if your rate of hair loss is higher than the rate of hair growth then you are fighting a losing battle.

The next product that I would like to discuss is Propecia, which is also FDA approved and uses the ingredient finasteride. It works by reducing the amount of DHT being formed in the scalp. This slows the balding process and could allow your hair to re-grow normally. The problem that I see with this product is that you need a prescription for it, and that it is only for men.

In the past we believed that hair loss was mainly a male problem, and if that was the case then Propecia would be an awesome product. But in this day and age, we are more informed and understand that loss of hair is also a women's issue as well. This issue is also more devastating for women than men. It has a dramatic effect on their self-esteem and confidence.

So now that we discussed what the benefits of these two products are, as well as what the disadvantages of these products are. We can now discuss what the alternative medicine for hair loss needs in order to worth trying.

First off it needs to be able to re-grow your hair, and why not choose the only FDA approved ingredient for re-growing hair which is Minoxidil. Next it needs to slow the balding process like finasteride, but it needs to be easily obtainable without needing a prescription. The ingredient that I believe fits this requirement is saw palmetto. This natural ingredient is known to slow the balding process.

Now it's time to start putting this information together. The alternative medicine for hair loss needs to be able to re-grow hair and slow the process of losing hair. It also needs to be easily obtained with out a prescription. The last and final thing is that it needs to be able to be used by both men and women. Of course they won't be taking the same product because men and women are different, but they need to have a formula for both men and women.

Now that you know what you are looking for in a viable alternative for hair loss, it is time to find it and begin treatment. It has been proven that the faster you begin treatment the greater your chances are of succeeding.

I have done the research, and I believe that I have found the product that meets the criteria above. If you want more information about this product please check out my resource box below. What Alternative Medicine For Hair Loss Should Contain For Successful Regrowth

Here is a really simple way to ensure that any alternative medicine for hair loss you select has the highest chance of working. Simply knowing the main cause of loss of hair today allows you to seek out the most effective solution.

For men, the hair is lost in a well-defined pattern, beginning above both the temples. Hair also thins at the crown of the head and the condition may progress to complete baldness if treatments for hair loss are not employed.

The pattern of loss of hair in women differs quite markedly from male pattern baldness. In women, the hair becomes thinner all over the head, with the hairline generally not receding.

For the best alternative medicine for hair loss to work it needs to block a hormone called DHT, the main cause of male and female pattern baldness (androgenic alopecia). This hormone shrinks the hair follicles until the hair gets so thin it falls out.

This is why you experience quite a long period of thinning hair before you actually start to see any bald patches appearing.

The most successful alternative medicine for hair loss products uses a combination of Minoxidil and a base of natural nutrients.

Minoxidil is the only topical medication approved by the FDA for both female and male pattern hair loss. While it does not grow new hair, it works by blocking the DHT and prolonging the growth phase of hair - providing more time for hair to grow out to its full density and returning your full head of hair.

Natural herb extracts that also help include Saw Palmetto, Horsetail and Muira Puama to block the DHT while promoting your overall health and vitamin B6, magnesium, zinc and biotin are all very important to build and maintain healthy strong hair.

Once you start to use these ingredients in the best alternative medicine for hair loss, you will see gradual new hair growth each month, building up to restore both your hair and youthful looks.

The Advantages of Alternative Medicine For Hair Loss Are Numerous

Have you heard about alternative medicine for hair loss? This is becoming more of an affordable solution.

For many years, people had no alternative, but to pay high prices for hair treatments that did not work. The number of people cashing in on other people's pain was astounding.

Hair transplants became the rage and the prices charged for this were quite expensive. With the number of hair grafts needed, the price could easily end up being $20,000 or more.

In addition to the cost, there were the effects of the grafts. They were very uncomfortable.

Seeking an alternative medicine for hair loss was understandable at this point. The studies that have been conducted have shown interesting results.

According to these studies, one of the major causes of thinning hair was androgen. This is a hormone that is responsible for male and female pattern baldness.

This is technically called androgenic alopecia. The androgen that is in the blood is changed to DHT by an enzyme called 5-alpha reductase.

DHT stops the normal blood flow to the hair follicle. This causes the hair follicle to basically die.

They can no longer produce hair and the hair that is there falls out. This causes bald spots on the head.

An alternative medicine for hair loss has been linked to vitamins. The B vitamin, in particular has shown good results.

Biotin is in the B vitamin family and helps to build healthy hair. The choices are becoming clearer.

According to the studies involving the cause of loss of hair, especially in males, 92% is caused by DHT levels. The prevention of hair loss can be accomplished and new hair can grow.

The secret is to find the right combination of vitamins and minerals to prevent DHT from blocking the hair follicles. In addition, when you provide hair that is growing with the right nutrients, it becomes healthier and stronger.

The ingredients you will find that can create an alternative medicine for hair loss are natural ingredients. Saw palmetto, nettles, Vitamin B-6 and Biotin are the best ingredients to use.

Not only are the ingredients effective, but they cause no side effects like chemicals can. The use of a natural mineral are also beneficial.

Magnesium is one of these minerals. It will help growing hair stay strong and healthy.

It also is another of the blockers of DHT to help prevent the hair follicles from dying. Getting new hair to grow is another advantage.

One of the things you need to remember when searching for the alternative medicine for hair loss is your diet. Eating healthy is another way of keeping hair, skin and nails at their best.

There is the mistaken idea that men are the only ones who have this problem. The fact is, women have problems with losing hair as well.

Although not quite as high as men, the number of women in the U.S. that suffer from hair loss is 21 million. Men top that by numbering 35 million.

So, as you can see, the problem affects many people across the country. The alternative medicine for hair loss is essential as the number of people who need a solution.

Alternative Medicine For Hair Loss - What Really Works?

It is easy to find alternative medicine for hair loss. What's harder is finding something that really works. Here's a look at some of the available remedies, as well as an overview of how they work, in the case of those that do.

Diet & Lifestyle

If you spend much time reading about health problems, you are likely to run across terms like metabolic syndrome, high insulin levels and chronic inflammation. The three complicate, contribute to or cause many health problems, including type II or adult-onset diabetes, acne, heart disease, high blood pressure, cellular aging and even wrinkles.

Studies indicate that baldness, particularly male pattern baldness, accompanies metabolic syndrome, which is a term used to describe people that have central obesity, insulin resistance and are physically inactive. Chronic inflammation accompanies metabolic syndrome, as do high insulin levels in the bloodstream, both of which have a negative effect on the body's hormones.

When certain hormones interact with the hair-producing follicles, they can cause them to shrink and eventually stop producing. Chronic inflammation can damage the follicles, as well.

Food can either contribute to inflammation and the production of "bad" hormones or they can act as natural anti-inflammatories and contribute to the production of "good" hormones. So, food can be used as alternative medicine for hair loss.

Foods to avoid include simple carbs; white bread, white rice, white sugar, white potatoes and pasta. They contribute to high insulin levels and inflammation.

Foods to include in the diet on a regular basis include fish, fruits, vegetables and whole grains like oatmeal. They are digested slowly, reduce insulin levels and reduce inflammation throughout the body.

Herbs

Herbs that have been recommended as alternative medicine for hair loss include black cohosh, green tea, gingko biloba, horsetail silica and saw palmetto. Black cohosh is only recommended for women during or after menopause. It may provide relief for the symptoms of menopause and some studies indicate that it is beneficial for female alopecia, although researchers cannot explain why.

Green tea and gingko biloba may be beneficial for both men and women, as they improve circulation. Poor circulation to the follicles is one of the causes of alopecia.

For women, horsetail silica seems to work, probably because of the natural anti-inflammatory activity. Results are best when the nutrients biotin and PABA are included in the supplement.

For men, saw palmetto is the best-known alternative medicine for hair loss. It is most effective against male pattern baldness. It works by interfering with the conversion of free testosterone to DHT, the hormone believed to shrink the follicles.

Massage

Scalp massage may help improve circulation to the follicles. One study showed that a daily massage was beneficial for alopecia areata, a condition in which the immune system is responsible for the bald patches.

Massaging Minoxidil into the scalp twice a day has proven beneficial for both men and women. It works by dilating the blood vessels, which improves nutrient flow to the follicles. It might not be considered alternative medicine for hair loss, but Minoxidil really works.

Why People Prefer Using Alternative Medicine For Hair Loss

I started researching on baldness and the different solutions to hair thinning when my hair began to grow thinner due to the excessive hair loss that I was experiencing. Not the smartest move, I know, but did you know that most people who suffer from Alopecia or hair thinning only find out about it once it has escalated into something extreme?

The good thing for me is that it did not go on to something like baldness or female pattern baldness.

I came across a lot of baldness solutions, but one thing that struck me is the use of alternative medicine for hair loss. The first thing that came into mind is what is "alternative medicine" and what makes it different from other form of medication?

Turns out that alternative medicine are considered unconventional forms of cure. Eastern practices such as acupuncture and the use of Chinese herbs are considered a form of this medicine. Having lived in Asia at one point in my life, I found the thought of using other types of medicine for baldness quite interesting, because I know how eastern medication and practices such as these provide a more holistic approach in treating sickness.

I was honestly expecting some sort of massage or acupuncture like treatment, because I have found that these sorts of things relaxing and a very good experience. Unfortunately, no - there are no acupuncture, pressure therapy or massages listed under the alternative medicine for baldness that I had found.

The good news is that alternative medicine for hair loss has been proven effective in the form of different teas and supplements that primarily contain the following components: Saw Palmetto, Nettle Root extract, Siberian Ginsent and Horse Tail Plant. These herbs put together with Magnesium, Zinv, Vitamin B6 and Biotin prove to be a very potent anti hair loss product, which is why alternative medicine for hair loss has become increasingly popular these days.

Although many people still like the more conventional approach or medication, one thing that I have learned about hair loss is that there are times when excessive medication can prove to be harmful. This is why using alternative medicine such as these is preferred by a lot of people as they not only help treat the baldness, because the vitamins and minerals contained in the other kinds of medicine remedies also treat a lot of different ailments in an individual as well.

Alternative Medicine For Hair Loss

Hair loss can become a socially obstructive ailment for some and as such it's important to deal with it appropriately. If the reason for loss is something reversible, then it's integral that you focus on solutions immediately to prevent further balding and instead maintain what is remaining, as to help it regrow in the future. This can be done by several means, some synthetic treatments, others are naturally-occurring. Whatever you decide on, be sure to consult your General Practitioner before using any alternative medicine for hair loss products.

Synthetic Treatments

Two treatments that can be used together are Rogaine Foam and Tricomin Therapy Spray. Together, they provide excellent stimulation for growth. In particular, the Rogaine Foam is very widely testified as being successful and is particularly integral in the treatment of androgenetic alopecia. The Tricomin Therapy Spray helps improve the appearance of hair and also has no side effects. It comes recommended by those with the previously mentioned ailment and those with thinning of the hair.

Another two products (which can also be used the previous two as part of a powerful regimen) are Topical Spironolactone cream and Revivogen Scalp Therapy, which both prevent further loss. The former product is a scientifically-proven androgen blocker, which prevents the DHT (related to the hormone testosterone) from binding with the DHT receptors in the follicles. Essentially, this allows the hair to grow back again without further obstruction. The latter product acts in a similar fashion by inhibiting the DHT. Both of these products play a vital role in preventing androgenetic alopecia of causing any further loss.

All four of these products can be used together in order to form a powerful regimen to stop balding and improve growth.

Natural Remedies

Red pepper, when mixed with water, can be massaged into the scalp. It irritates the skin and causes a rush of histamines to the same area which in turn improves growth.

Aloe Vera is essential to balancing the pH levels of the scalp, which can help heal the skin. In a liquid or gel form, this herb can provide stimulation for growth.

Which Alternative Medicine For Hair Loss Should You Choose and Will it Work?

Alternative medicine for hair loss is becoming extremely popular and it is quite easy to see why, after all some people can quite easily shrug off the fact that they are losing hair. But for others it has a huge effect on their self esteem and how they feel about themselves, especially if they are women. Throw in the fact that more well known treatments such as transplants and weaves can not only be expensive and painful too, or that medicinal treatments can leave some men unable to perform sexually and it's no surprise that alternative medicine for hair loss is on the rise.

With natural treatments though there is not just one that is being singled out, but in fact there are several different vitamins minerals and herbs that are believed to help combat hair loss, in particular by combating DHT before it gets to the scalp. In case you are unaware DHT occurs in the body when testosterone combines with the enzyme 5-alpha-reductase, and people who are genetically sensitive to DHT are the ones that end out losing their hair. So what are the treatments?

Firstly there are vitamins that are recommended, particularly B vitamins as they help metabolize proteins which are the building blocks of your cells; as well as that they help get more oxygen into your blood which is important too. Biotin which is derived from vitamin B is also very important as this helps to encourage the growth of your cells, particularly hair nails and skin.

Also recommended as alternative treatments are the minerals zinc and magnesium. Most people do not get enough magnesium in their diet yet it is essential for healthy skin hair and bones. Zinc is essential for a healthy immune system, but as well as that it is thought to inhibit the enzyme 5-alpha-reductase which of course is a component of DHT.

Herbs have a big part to play in alternative medicine for hair loss too, particularly saw palmetto and nettle. The reasoning behind these two is that they both help to combat DHT. Saw palmetto helps against DHT by inhibiting 5-alpha-reductase, whist nettle is believed to reduce the amount of free testosterone in the body, which of course are both components of DHT.

So, as mentioned before, these alternative medicines for hair loss all have different attributes that can help, but there is not really one to pick above the other as they all contribute in their different ways. But combining them can help as they then all support each other and strengthen each others properties.

Every alternative medicine for hair loss is not the same; a few are effective, while majority are not. Saw palmetto is an herb that has been used since the ancient times for prostrate health. Saw palmetto works by preventing 5-alpha- reductase enzyme from converting the male hormone testosterone (women have this hormone too) to DHT, thereby stopping and reversing your hairloss.

Other nutrients you should look for in a quality alternative medicine for hair loss are Biotin, Vitamin B6, Zinc and magnesium; these nutrients have been proven to support hair growth as well as helping to boost your health generally.

For enhanced result, a good alternative medicine for hair loss combines nutritional supplement that contains the above-mentioned nutrients with an effective topical solution. Proven Alternative Medicine For Hair Loss

Has thinning hair got you down? Some thinning is normal; an average person can lose around 100 hairs per day. But if you are starting to notice more hairs in the sink in the morning or on your brush, you might be a suffering from a hereditary condition called androgenetic alopecia or more commonly known as male and female pattern baldness.

While losing your hair can be stressful and upsetting, there is hope in the form of an alternative medicine for hair loss when we are talking about thinning caused by androgenetic alopecia.

This type of loss is normally a genetic trait you have received from both sides of your family tree. Observing the older members of your family and noting their level of receding hair can be a gauge for what you can expect for yourself at the same age left untreated. I'm not going to lie to you here, if you have already experienced total baldness or almost total with only a horseshoe pattern left this alternative medicine for hair loss will not help you re-grow that hair. But if your just starting to notice extra hair loss, this medicine could very well help you restore your lost hair.

Alternative medicines for thinning hair treatment have been clinically proven to stop loss and help re-grow at least some of your thinning hair. These treatments combine powerful natural vitamins used by the natives of North America for centuries and the only non-prescription medication approved by the FDA to treat receding hair and re-grow hair.

The cause of male or female pattern baldness is sensitivity to a certain male hormone known as dihydrotestosterone or DHT.

Dihydrotestosterone starves your hair follicles of needed vitamins and nutrients used to make them strong and healthy. Slowly over time these starved follicles produce thinner and thinner hairs, until they simply fall out. The DHT then prevents the follicles from producing new healthy hairs.

The result is male and female pattern baldness, males tend to experience thinning starting at either the crown of the head or along the sides which will slowly spread into one of the recognizable patterns of male baldness, friar tuck, horse shoe, the landing strip, etc. For females pattern baldness rarely results in full bald patches but normally will result in an overall thinning of hair across the entire scalp.

Treated early and aggressively with an alternative medicine for receding hair such as a natural herbal/medical supplement hair loss can be stopped and some of this damage can be reversed in most cases. Clinical studies have shown 56% of users of the active medical ingredient Minoxidil have had moderate to dense re-growth of lost hair.

You'd be surprise by the results that can be achieved by the right medication and herb extract mix. Some of the best herbal combinations for hair loss include:

Saw Palmetto

Eleuthero (Siberian Ginseng)

Nettle Root Extract

Horsetail Plant

Magnesium

Zinc

Vitamin B6

Biotin

Looking for these powerful vitamins and minerals will ensure you have a winning combination in hair-growth formulations. Natural hair treatments are not magic, so a certain amount of time will be needed before you see results between 4-6 months. The wait will however be well worth the effort when you see healthy new hairs where none where before.

Alternative Medicine For Hair Loss - Stopping the Problem at the Root

You are losing your hair. Every morning you get up and take a shower, only to find more hair at your feet in the tub. You gently brush your hair and feel ill when you see locks of your hair stuck in the brush and littering the surface of your sink. You consult your doctor and he says it is normal and natural and that there is very little that can be done, short of taking a painful, expensive surgical route. It is time to explore some alternative medicine for hair loss.

There are many things that can cause loss of hair in men and women. Many men and even some women suffer from a genetic predisposition for losing hair which will result in a condition known as androgenic alopecia. As their bodies produce testosterone, that testosterone binds with other hormones into the compound known as DHT. DHT then surrounds and chokes out the hair follicles, making it impossible for the follicle to support hair growth. There is an alternative medicine that focuses on this cause exactly. Saw Palmetto has shown promise in preventing the testosterone from converting into DHT, which promotes healthy hair growth.

Nutrition is another large factor in losing hair. Deficiencies of certain vitamins have been shown to cause hair loss in men and women, both young and old. The B vitamins especially are very important to your body for producing healthy cells. A diet that is lacking in folic acid, niacin and biotin can lead to loss of hair, fatigue and even depression. Taking alternative medicine for hair loss that targets these deficiencies can help restore healthy hair growth. There are supplements available that are rich in these vitamins and minerals. They are like "hair vitamins" and can help you regain the lush healthy locks you once had.

Regardless of the cause of your loss, you should explore alternative medicine for hair loss for help in reversing it. Talk to your doctor and determine what the cause of your hair loss truly is. If surgery or pharmaceutical options are not on the table for you, there is a wealth of other treatments that you can explore. You don't have to keep watching your hair wash down the drain. Take action and take control of your hair loss problem now.

Looking For an Alternative Medicine For Hair Loss?

Why an alternative medicine for hair loss?

For too long now, people have been paying through the nose for ineffective and temporary hair treatments. The providers of these treatments know how embarrassing this problem is, and they take full advantage of it by charging unearthly amounts to solve it.

Did you know a hair transplant can cost you anywhere from $4000 to $20000 depending on the number of grafts you require? Not to forget the side effects like swelling of the scalp and forehead and itching. It's a wonder not more people look for an alternative medicine for hair loss.

Apart from the causes of temporary loss of hair like hormonal imbalances or strong medication as prescribed in chemotherapy, the single biggest cause of baldness in both men and women is the hormone - Androgen.

This hormone produces a condition known as Androgenic Alopecia, commonly known as Male Pattern Baldness (MPB) or Female Pattern Baldness (FPB).

In this condition, the Androgen in your blood stream is converted by the enzyme, 5-alpha reductase, into Dihydrotestostrone (DHT). This DHT prevents the proper flow of blood to your hair follicles, which makes them shrink and lose the ability to produce new hair.

This lack of new hair slowly results in baldness spreading on your scalp.

Now, before you start using any medicine for your hair, some dietary changes might be in order.

The vitamin B6 is important for the proper functioning of many body functions. It also helps in maintaining the growth of your hair.

Bition, which is another B vitamin, is also helpful in keeping the hair, nails and skin healthy.

So begin by including plenty of nuts, whole grains, brown rice and eggs in your diet to get adequate quantities of these vitamins.

Zinc and Magnesium are the minerals that can help in keeping your hair growth rate healthy. Soybeans, green vegetables and fish are good sources for these minerals.

Finally, you can also take the FDA approved ingredient Minoxidil, for faster results. This alternative medicine for hair loss is effective at inhibiting the DHT in your body and prevents the follicles from shrinking.

Not only does it slow down the rate of hair fall, but also stimulates the production of new hair.

So there you have it. A good alternative medicine for hair loss can give you back a full head of healthy hair. Go ahead and find one now.

Alternative Medicine For Hair Loss - Discover the Effective Natural Ingredients For New Healthy Hair

Let's face it, when it comes to alternative medicine for hair loss, there are literally hundreds of products to choose from. To help you select the best, you just need to know the most effective ingredients and then it becomes a much easier task.

Alternative medicine for hair loss has increased rapidly in recent years as more people suffer from alopecia and male and female pattern baldness and seek natural remedies for hair loss.

The key is getting the right synergistic blend of vitamins, minerals and herb extracts that actually work while boosting your health at the same time. Many on the market have not been thoroughly researched and offer little benefits or unwanted side effects.

One of the best herb extracts is called Saw Palmetto for hair loss and has been used by Native Americans to cure a range of ailments including the loss of hair for many hundreds of years.

It was originally used to treat prostate problems in men successfully and then noted for its ability to help prevent the hair thinning and balding.

When combined with other nutrients like vitamin B6, Biotin, magnesium and zinc it helps to prevent a hormone called DHT from stifling the hair follicles leading to new growth and boosting your immune system along the way.

A hormonal imbalance is the most common cause of thinning and balding, affecting both men and women.

Other herbs for hair growth include Nettle, Muira Puama and Pumpkin which not only help you to grow back a healthy head of hair but also promote your overall health too.

So when looking for an alternative medicine for hair loss, ensure you check the ingredients carefully to see that these are included along with the recently FDA approved Minoxidil to further boost new hair growth.
